Our History
Quinn Lifts was born from Quinn Engineering — a New Zealand business with a long history of innovation, manufacturing, and problem solving dating back to the early 1960s.
Originally established by Eddie Quinn as Quinn Baleboys, the company built its reputation on designing and manufacturing practical equipment that solved real-world challenges. Over time, the business evolved into Quinn Engineering, expanding into new industries and continuing to grow through innovation and customer-focused thinking.
As the lift division developed, it became clear there was an opportunity to create a dedicated brand focused specifically on lift and accessibility solutions. Quinn Lifts was established to provide a specialist focus on through-floor lifts, short-rise lifts, and access solutions for homes and commercial spaces throughout New Zealand.
Today, Quinn Lifts combines decades of engineering experience with a modern approach to accessibility — continuing the Quinn tradition of quality workmanship, practical thinking, and looking after our customers and community.
